The Quartertones live at the Jansen Art center

The Quartertones play Arabic classical music that is a refined and complex musical tradition characterized by intricate rhythms and melodic modes (maqamat).

The Quartertones are hoping to bring their style of music to the western world in an effort to bridge the two cultures and shed a light on the beautiful musical traditions of the Arabian world.
