When litter is left behind, it is often washed away into the James River, where it makes its way to the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. At least 14 million tons of trash end up in the ocean EVERY YEAR! Come make an impact on your community (and make some friends!) We will provide the clean-up supplies – you provide the hands!

Make sure you bring a reusable water bottle, your lunch or snacks, wear closed-toe shoes you don't mind getting wet and muddy, and clothes you don't mind working in.
