Memory Care Support Group: Meaningful Engagements

Are you caring for a loved one living with memory impairment? Join senior care experts from Heritage Green Assisted Living and Memory Care, along with other dementia care professionals, for a free Memory Care Support Group. This supportive session offers practical advice, resources, and answers to your caregiving questions.

Our next meeting is Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 1 p.m., in the Assisted Living community room at Heritage Green, 201 Lillian Lane in Lynchburg.

June McNamara, a social worker with Gentle Shepherd Hospice, will present “Meaningful Engagements with Your Loved One with Cognitive Decline.” She will share tips on identifying enjoyable, purposeful activities and incorporating them into a daily routine to enhance quality of life.
