Beat the January blues, test yourself, and bond with friends over a bowl of Rancher's Chilli at LWVBPT's convivial quiz night at the Wye Valley Hotel, Thursday 29th January, 7.30-10pm.
Eight teams of 4-6 players will battle it out in eight rounds of brain-teasers posed by our quizmaster Ali Ashman.

Thinking minds lead to hungry stomachs, so at 8.30pm each quizzer will be served a bowl of Sue's Rancher's chilli - succulent slow-cooked chunks of beef and a trio of pulses mildly spiced with chipotle and smoked paprika, Mexican oregano and served with rice. Vegetarians and vegans won't miss out - your version will be loaded with veggies. And if you like it hot, we can provide some extra spicy sauce on the side!
By 10pm(ish) we will have a winning team, but you can still be victorious! Bring some cash for the raffle. There will be plenty of prizes - so don't miss out on an individual win!

All proceeds go towards the purchase and consolidation of St Mary's, a picturesque grade II listed ruin on the hillside above Tintern Abbey, so that it can safely re-open to the public.
