Do you sometimes get stuck when trying to decipher the secrets in old documents? Join us on Sat 13th December when Jen Ross will help you to decode the past.
This session will help you to read and use documents in your research, primarily focusing on handwriting in the 19th and 20th Centuries (1800s-1900s) and will include tips and tricks to assist in reading old handwriting and calligraphy including hands-on experience during the session, some commonly used abbreviations, how to transcribe, and some common formats used.
