At CinEast, we believe that solidarity with Ukraine is more important than ever - this is why we included a Special Ukrainian Programme for the fourth consecutive year!
🎬 We will open this year’s Ukrainian Special Programme with impact - a screening of “My Dear Théo”, the latest work by acclaimed Ukrainian filmmaker Alisa Kovalenko @ neimenster
Structured as a poetic video diary to her young son, the film documents Kovalenko’s decision to join the army in 2022, weaving together the brutal reality of war with moments of love, friendship, and reflection. Intimate yet universal, it is both a personal confession and a powerful plea against the horrors of war.
