CinEast presents: BEHIND THE GLASS

🎬 Surprise screening alert!

"Slovo House" in June was supposed to be our last “CinEast presents” before the festival… but here comes one more! ✨ And it’s a special one!

On Sat. 20.09. and in partnership with Kinepolis Luxembourg we’re happy to bring you the Swiss–Latvian drama "Behind the Glass" by Olga Dinnikova Released in January 2025, the film follows Anna and her rebellious daughter Lena as they flee upheaval in Riga and seek refuge in Switzerland… only to discover how fragile trust and new beginnings can be.
A moving story that also touches on our upcoming festival theme "Disruptions", which invites us to reflect on the many ways lives can be unsettled - from sudden personal turmoils to broader societal shifts.
