St. Francis Episcopal Parish & Community Center's free weekly community dinner, Welcome Table Wednesday, returns on September 3rd with our Back to School Picnic! All are welcome to this joyful event as we celebrate the start of the school year with food, fun, and community! We will dine al fresco on the playground! Burgers, hotdogs, and sides will be served. The playground is located near the Community Center entrance.
During the picnic, our rector, Rev. Amy, will offer a special moment of blessing for anyone who desires it. This special blessing is open for students and teachers or even for backpacks, lunch bags, and school supplies brought from home. This blessing is an open invitation for anyone who wishes to receive encouragement and support for the year ahead, regardless of background or religious tradition. Participation is completely optional, and all are welcome to simply enjoy the festivities.
¡La cena comunitaria semanal gratuita de la Parroquia Episcopal y Centro Comunitario de St. Francis, el miércoles de mesa de bienvenida, regresa el 3 de septiembre con nuestro picnic de regreso a clases! ¡Todos son bienvenidos a este alegre evento mientras celebramos el inicio del año escolar con comida, diversión y comunidad! ¡Cenaremos al aire libre en el patio de recreo! Se servirán hamburguesas, hot dogs y guarniciones. El patio de juegos está ubicado cerca de la entrada del Centro Comunitario.
Durante el picnic, nuestra rectora, Rev. Amy, ofrecerá un momento especial de bendición para quien lo desee. Esta bendición especial está abierta para estudiantes y maestros o incluso para mochilas, loncheras y útiles escolares traídos de casa.
