Mufulira mayor welcomes the digital waste management in Mufulira, recently a digital waste collection project called liquid trash has been started in the Copperbelt to clean streets and markets which has overwhelmed many political players communities in general.

His worship the mayor of Mufulira has commended the the team behind liquid trash for extending the project to Mufulira, this is also another to create employment through continued waste collection and recycling which in turn will become a source of bio gass and organic fertilizer from the waste collected from markets.

Copperbelt is the second largest producer of plastic which has been a bigger challenge in drainage blocking and flooding, this is also in collaboration with local councils to join efforts in reducing flooding and waterborne diseases like malaria, cholera and dysentery.
Collective efforts are needed to be done to see clean cities and attract investor confidence.
