Some of you may already be aware of the Mosi-oa-Tunya Rally happening in Zambia in September this year.
Although the Rally is still in the planning phase by the Zambia Chapter, we’d like to share the details we have so far, so that you can start planning if you’d like to join.
Although this Rally officially only runs from 26 - 29 Sept, we will need a few days travel to get there and again for the return.
Below is the info we have so far:
“The plan as of today is to all *meet in Kasane, Botswana on September 25th, 2025 late afternoon,* to sleep there and then to all cross the Zambian border together early Morning on September 26th, 2025 - entry to Zambia should be facilitated with pre documentation to be sent to Passport and Immigration Zambia to facilitate and speed up the crossing of the border (more info on what is required will follow). September 26th, 2025 will therefore be dedicated to visit Livingstone and the Victoria Falls and in the evening to have a dinner together in Livingstone. On September 27th, 2025 early morning, we will join Lusaka an ride as a big group with an Zambian Police Force escort. Arrival in Lusaka in the afternoon of September 27th, 2025. The programme for September 27th, 2025 evening, 28th, 2025 and 29th, 2025 will be communicated later. I can however inform you that it is already planned to have a parade in Lusaka on September 28th, 2025. Looking forward to seeing you at this rally in big numbers. Please do not hesitate to contact all your bikers friends and tell them to join you for this rally! It would be great as well if you could communicate to Dani and/or myself with an estimate of participants from your respective chapter, free chapter, Independent chapter motorcycle club, so that we can work on the accommodation offering in Kasane, Livingstone and Lusaka.”
Save the dates in your diary and put your leave in, this is going to be a Bucket List Rally! We will probably travel close to 3900km’s return, so start getting your head around the planning!
