CLOTHING SWAP WITH iGEM Lund x Naturskyddsföreningen x Erikshjälpen
Do you have old clothing laying in the very back of your wardrobe? Is that old shirt you’ve kept since 8th grade collecting dust? Or do you simply want to upgrade your style this new season?
In that case iGEM Lund 2025 welcomes you to a clothing swap in collaboration with Erikshjälpen Second Hand Lund City and The Swedish Society for Nature Conservation (Naturskyddsföreningen)!
Enjoy free fika, join our quiz walk where you can win giftcards to use at Erikshjälpen Second Hand in Lund City Centre and find new favourites for your wardrobe.
iGEM Lund is a student-driven project competing in the world’s largest competition in synthetic biology. The team of 2025 aims to degrade polyester in a more sustainable and cost-efficient way. The problem with textile is that only 1 % of all produced textile is being recycled, most of it gets incinerated or landfilled when thrown out. A great way to avoid this is to change consumer habits and try to reuse, repair and recycle. In practice a great way of doing this is joining our clothing swap!
