Where: Coate Family Pond, 7922 Fenner road, Ludlow Falls, OH.
Why: Because we can, that’s why.
Entry: Each team will consist of a minimum of 2 individuals, and a maximum of 6 people. Entry will be $50 a team. Payouts and prizes dependent upon number of teams. Please Contact Gavin for your team’s name, and its supporting member’s entry.
Rules: Cooking can begin Saturday morning at any time
~~MUST BE COOKED ON SITE, DAY OF!~~
**THIS YEARS RULE**
~~Chili will be ASAIN style chili, interpretation is left up to each team~~
**if not, will be disqualified**
can be in any form, use any spices, peppers, or ingredients, homegrown or bought, necessary to win.
**chili MUST be cooked over a wood fire at the pond** violators will be disqualified
check in will be at 4:30 Saturday evening with the judges, having 3 samples for the 3 judges. Whatever is required to make your chili, you will provide (Wood, grates, pots, serving bowls).
Notes: Camping is welcome from Friday afternoon through Sunday for anyone interested. Games, door prizes, and various events will be provided throughout the day. After judging is complete and a winner has been crowned, all chili will be available for a buffet style meal for all in attendance and the party will continue on after.
