Here's how it works:
1. Preparation:
Passengers purchase or create rubber ducks, often adding tags with their name, the cruise details, and instructions to post on a social media group like "Cruising Ducks".
2. Hiding:
Ducks are discreetly hidden in public areas of the ship, avoiding shops, pools, and other sensitive areas.
3. Finding:
Other passengers discover the ducks and can either keep them or re-hide them, often posting photos of their finds on the associated social media group.
4. Social Media:
The Cruising Ducks Facebook group, and other related groups, serve as a hub for sharing photos, tracking ducks, and connecting with other participants.
