This is Pastor Don Cochran, reaching out with an invitation to a special event this Saturday, September 27α΅Κ° from 5:00β7:00 PM, at the George County Courthouse in Lucedale. We will gather to honor the life and legacy of Charlie Kirk, a bold servant of Christ, and to seek Godβs direction for His Church moving forward.
Charlie Kirk was a passionate follower of Jesus, fearlessly sharing a Christian worldview in challenging environments like college campuses. With love and courage, he encouraged young people to embrace biblical valuesβliving pure lives, pursuing godly marriages, raising families, and sharing the Gospel. One of his final acts was proclaiming the Good News, a testament to his faith. Through Turning Point USA, God used Charlie to impact countless lives, not only in our nation but across the world.
In Acts 7, the martyrdom of Stephen sparked a movement. Persecution scattered the early Church, yet they preached Jesus everywhere, and God transformed lives, including Saul of Tarsus. Could Charlieβs life and sacrifice be a similar turning point for the Church today? Only God knows, but we believe He desires a vibrant, faithful Bride, not a lukewarm one.
