This seminar is designed to provide students with information that if implemented will make them more secure in their home and provide a measure of peace of mind. The course will look at the nature of residential crime, including burglary and the specific form of burglary in Texas known as home invasion. It will cover mindset, the nature and variety of threats and the tactics of criminals. We will cover measures to increase your home security ranging from free to expensive, simple to more complex. Topics will include lighting, alarms, locks, doors, windows, the garage, dogs and a specific case study.

*This is not a handgun class, there will be no live weapons in class.
