Join West Texas Pathfinders and the SPARC TaskForce for our annual Winter Field Day Emergency Communications Exercise & Community Open House!
This 30 hour event brings together radio operators, emergency volunteers, and partner agencies to demonstrate how communications are established and maintained during real-world disasters.
Whether you’re a seasoned radio operator, a preparedness-minded family, or just curious about what happens inside an Emergency Operations Center, this event is built for you. Stop by, learn, participate, ask questions, and experience hands-on radio communication in a fun and educational environment.

Lubbock County Emergency Operations Center
Hosted in partnership with:
• Lubbock County Emergency Management
• Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office – Mobile Operations Team
🕒 Schedule
Saturday: Operations begin at 10:00 AM
Sunday: Event concludes at 4:00 PM
Visitors are welcome throughout the open-house hours to tour equipment, observe live operations, participate in demos, and enjoy food and fellowship.
