Mad Scientist Club at Patterson Branch Library

We are going to create a captivating lava lamp- an exciting project that will allow us to delve into the fascinating world of chemical reactions and the principles of fluid density. As we watch the vibrant bubbles rise and fall, we'll gain insights into the science behind the mesmerizing display. In addition to our exploration of science, we will also embark on an artistic journey to celebrate the remarkable Frida Kahlo and her distinctive style. Inspired by her bold colors and evocative imagery, our art project will encourage us to express our creativity while honoring her legacy as an iconic artist. Ages 8 and up.
