Young Photographer Award 2025

On 11 December I invite you to join us for the first ever Young Photographer Award 2025 in Aotearoa! It will take place right here in Wellington, in Lower Hutt.

At The Art of Seeing Academy we run photography workshops for kids aged 7 to 18 with our wonderful tutors and volunteers. Since 2023 we have run more than 80 workshops across weekends, schools, homeschool groups, after school sessions and private groups. More than 180 kids have joined us and many now see photography as part of their everyday life!

We could not be prouder of their creativity, effort and talent. This awards night is our way of honouring them and creating a moment they will remember. We will also have fantastic speakers sharing their journeys, careers and inspiration in photography.

We would love you to join us, support the kids and share in a night filled with creativity, joy and inspiration. 💖
