XTrail Spring - Battle at Boulder Hill

Boulder Hill offers up a classic slice of Wellington trail running - rugged, scenic, and deeply rewarding. Set in the Belmont Regional Park, the three courses take you through a mix of lush native bush, open ridgelines, and rolling farmland with epic views across the Wellington harbour, Hutt Valley, and out to the coast. The short course is a compact loop with punchy climbs and flowing descents, while the long course gives you the full Boulder Hill experience — a steady climb from the valley floor to the summit, followed by sweeping downhills and one final sting in the tail before you loop back to base. A true taste of the terrain that makes this region so special.
