WALK: Discover Historic Jackson Street

Who was Jackson Street named after and why is it not straight? Find out answers to this and more on this tour.

We will meet outside the Historic Police Station. Our Heritage Officer will take you on a tour of the Wellington region's only heritage shopping precinct, giving you some interesting and fun facts along the way.

Health & Safety:
This is an outdoor walk, and will involve traversing footpaths and street crossings in a busy commercial area. Registrants cautioned on the day about traffic and uneven footpaths.

Please wear good shoes and dress for the weather. The tour may be cancelled in bad weather.
