📍 Paint and Shred Event Directions:
The event will be held at the Forge Campus east parking lot (815 14th St SW, near Building D). Please enter from the east entrance off South Colorado Avenue. Go past the Pulse entrance off 14th Street SW and enter through South Colorado Avenue.
🚫 Do not enter from South Taft Avenue or from the Pulse entrance at 14th Street SW — follow the arrows on the map for smooth access!
Paint Event Details:
Acceptable Items Include
✅ Paint in its original, non-leaking, labeled container.
✅ Oil-based, acrylic and latex paints.
✅ Stains, shellacs, lacquers, sealers, varnishes and urethanes.
✅ Containers from sample sizes up to five-gallon containers.
✅ Accepting unlimited approved items above.
Items Not Accepted
❌ Spray paint, paint thinners and solvents.
❌ Cleaning agents, adhesives and other hazardous wastes.
Shred Event Details:
✅ No Yard Waste Permit required
✅ Limit: 5 bags or boxes per vehicle
✅ Bags: Under 13-gallon standard kitchen size
✅ Boxes: Banker’s box size (18” max)
✅ All shredded paper will be recycled! ♻️
