Fara Tolno is a sought-after teacher, a highly skilled instructor, and a passionate and dynamic educator. Come gain a deeper understanding of Guinea drum and dance with in-class instruction tailored to meet the needs of various levels. Beginner to advanced drummers and dancers are welcome and each level will learn and be challenged. Traditional and ballet duns, along with djembe are welcome to all drum classes. Join the dinner and dialogue to have a one-on-one storytelling, history sharing and Q&A experience with instructor. At Sunday's class drummers and dancers will be learning and participating simultaneously. This will provide the opportunity for drummers to learn the best practices of playing for classes, along with solo techniques and feedback for advanced drummers, while playing live for the dancers. Each 2-hour class will go in-depth, with a new rhythm or dance in each session, learning the details of movement or drum parts along with meaning and significance of rhythm.
