Yule Log Festival at Platte River State Park

Enjoy the beautiful winter season with friends and family at this Yule Log Festival at Platte River State Park!

All Yule Log activities take place at Walter Scott Jr. Lodge.

ACTIVITIES

-Make pinecone bird feeders

-Winter Holiday Cooking Decorating Contest: A fun holiday cookie competition. Bring your decorated festive platter of cookies to this fun holiday cookie competition. The winner will be announced at 2:15 p.m.

-Free marshmallow roasting

-Camp games

-Kindling hunt

-Yule Log Quest (Yule log teams may register by calling Platte River State Park at 402-234-2217.)

-Bonfire



A 2025 Nebraska state park vehicle permit is required for park entry.
