The Community Impact Loop

Join Spencer’s Stand for a community impact event bringing families, kids, and partners together to support awareness for Type 1 Diabetes and beyond. This interactive afternoon is designed to educate, connect, and empower through movement, play, and community support.

Guest appearances from Spencer and other Louisville Basketball athletes will make the day even more special.

Come ready to move, connect, and spend a meaningful afternoon together.

Open to families, kids with and without Type 1 Diabetes, and community supporters.

Parking & Arrival Instructions

Parking is available within the gate and on the street around the Darrell Griffith Athletic Center and in the lot behind Virginia Avenue Missionary Baptist Church.

• If parking at the church: Please enter through the West End School doors (3628 Virginia Avenue). Staff will direct you to the gym entrance.
• Direct Gym Access: The Darrell Griffith Athletic Center is located at the back of the property. Main entry is through the gate located on Dumesnil Street.

By attending this event, you understand that photos and video may be taken. These images may be used by Spencer’s Stand and participating partners for social media, website, and promotional purposes.

Attendance is voluntary. By participating, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for your own participation. Spencer’s Stand, event partners, vendors, volunteers, and the hosting facility are not liable for injuries, loss, or damages that may occur during the event.
