Advent is a time to slow down, seek to be calm, and make room for Jesus.
On the three Thursdays before Christmas, you are warmly invited to a participatory service of traditional Evening Prayer (Vespers) with Fr. Bruce at 6 pm in the room adjoining the main sanctuary. Prayer lasts about 30 minutes.
We will gather by candlelight as the day grows quiet, hear Scripture, pray beautiful ancient prayers, and offer our own prayers to God. The service is gentle and unhurried. If you have never been to Evening Prayer before, you will be gently guided, and everything you need will be provided.
Come keep a quiet Advent and prepare your heart for the coming of Christ. All are welcome
