Join us for a hands-on pottery carving workshop where you'll create a unique, personalized piece. Whether you're feeling inspired by spooky Halloween themes, botanical patterns, or something else entirely, you can carve any design you can imagine onto your piece.
When you sign up, you'll choose between a mug or a plate as your canvas.
This two-hour class is a great way to unleash your creativity in a fun and relaxed setting.
What to Expect:
We'll provide all the tools and materials you'll need. After class, your piece will need time to dry, be fired in the kiln, and glazed. We'll notify you when your finished piece is ready for pickup, typically about one week later. Pick up locations include Gnat and Bee in Loudonville, or from Rhino in Wooster.
Meet your facilitator:
Rhiannon is a Wooster native. With a bachelors degree in Art Education with a focus in Ceramics, she has been working with clay since 2011.
Working out of her at-home studio, she specifies in wheel thrown functional pottery ranging from mugs, dinnerware sets, and home decor. Her technique is a unique process of hand carving the clay creating a very texturized surface that begs to be touched
She likes for her pots to bring artistry and style anywhere in the home, while also celebrating the contemplative moments of simply enjoying a cup of coffee out of a favorite mug.

Ages: This event is best for ages 12 and up.
Cancellations and refunds: 50% (of registration cost) fee will apply for cancellations made after October 13th, 2025. If you need to cancel before the 13th, please call or email us asap for a full refund. No refunds for no shows.
