An immersive TCM workshop providing practical skills and knowledge for supporting women during pregnancy and labor.

2 Day Workshop: Saturday January 10th + Sunday, January 11th

9am-6pm


Join Dr. Deb Davies for a one-of-a-kind learning experience! This 2-day interactive workshop combines didactic and hands-on training to build your confidence in working with pregnant patients, both full-term and during labor. Experience firsthand the incredible difference TCM knowledge can make in supporting births.

You will learn to:

  • Understand female anatomy, physiology, and safety surrounding birth
  • Learn supportive and comfort measures for laboring women
  • Familiarized with pros/cons of birthing at home, in a hospital, or birth center
  • Master the use of TCM supplies/modalities to support laboring females, and TCM diagnostics, treatments& protocols for labor
  • Experience first-hand how to use the supportive techniques during labor & birth by practicing on other students and pregnant patients

About the Instructor: Dr. Deb Davies, DACM, Dipl. OM, L.O.M. is a nationally recognized doctor of acupuncture and Chinese medicine with over 20 years of experience specializing in integrative care for fertility, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum recovery.

An accomplished educator and mentor, Dr. Davies leads PUSH Professionals, a national mentorship program for perinatal acupuncturists, and teaches CEU courses and advanced trainings worldwide. She also serves on the faculty at Yo San University, the Eastern School of Acupuncture and Traditional Medicine, and the Won Institute of Graduate Studies.

Her clinical expertise is informed by both professional experience and her own personal journey through birth and loss, fostering a practice rooted in compassion, empowerment, and holistic family care. She currently practices in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania.

This class is approved for 16 CEUs by the California Acupuncture Board and is pending 16 PDAs by NCCAOM.

Refund Policy: Cancellation received in writing by one week prior to the first day of the course will be refunded less $30.00 administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations made after that date.
