Linocut Workshop Pet Portraits at SUAY

As part of SUAY’s Pup-A-Chino Weekend, we’re thrilled to offer a unique opportunity to turn your beloved pet into a custom print!

Join us on Saturday, October 18, and Sunday, October 19 at SUAY for a hands-on workshop led by artist Salvador de la Torre. In this session, you’ll learn the basics of linocut carving and printing while creating a one-of-a-kind portrait of your furry, feathery, or even scaly friend.

• Learn the Basics: Salvador will guide you through the fundamentals of linocut carving and printing, making it easy for beginners and fun for all skill levels.
• Create Your Pet Portrait: Bring a clear photo of your pet to use as a reference and turn it into a beautiful, hand-carved design.
• Print Your Masterpiece: Bring your own garment to print on, or purchase one of SUAY’s blanks on-site to customize.

• Who Can Join: All levels are welcome—no experience needed!
• What’s Provided: All materials for carving and printing are included.
