In Conversation: Jayne Kennedy and Jemele Hill

Join us for a celebration of Plain Jayne, the long-awaited memoir by Jayne Kennedy. In this book, Kennedy opens up about her career, personal battles, and the legacy she forged as a Black woman in media. The evening will include a conversation between the author and celebrated sports journalist Jemele Hill, followed by a book signing.

Parking Note: Please inform the parking booth staff that you are attending the event at the California African American Museum. You will be charged the standard $24 museum rate instead of the $80 concert rate for the BMO event happening in Exposition Park the same evening.
