Deep Dance

Every week we invite talented DJs to play on an amazing sound system - in a peaceful, welcoming, and concentrated environment — without drugs or arrogance.

We don’t care how you dance or how you look. We’re inclusive of all dancers aged 18+. This is a safe space for your gloriously imperfect self to let it all hang out.

Deep Dance is a lightly guided experience to encourage you to open new places in yourself. Our facilitation is optional - let it push your edges or just use it as an invitation to expand your body awareness.

Our facilitation is trauma-informed and designed to deepen your relationship with your body. We take care of your nervous system - and we believe that when we’re embodied, we become better leaders.

Dance is a vehicle of connection and a teacher of intimacy. In our disconnected world, we need to practice the skills it takes to cultivate (and keep!) relationships. When we’re supported by a village, we thrive.

• A safe, supportive, fun environment for connecting with yourself and others.
• Deep Dance is a lightly guided, non-choreographed movement practice where you'll be encouraged to move your body in whatever ways feel good to you.
• It's not about how you look - we even cover the mirrors so you can focus on your internal experience.
• It's okay to be nervous - most people are their first time!

• In this practice, all of you is welcome and you can't get it wrong.
• We ask that you silence your cell phone and refrain from taking photos or videos.
• There is no talking during the class.
• You may dance barefoot or in (non-street) shoes.
• Partnering is always optional - please respect the boundaries of your fellow dancers.
