Event Proceeds Benefit CRDMS Pipeline Programs!
The Charles R. Drew Medical Society (CRDMS) is the Los Angeles affiliate of the National Medical Association (NMA). Our organization advocates for underserved communities and physicians of color. Proceeds will benefit:
I. Medical School Scholarships
Incoming and continuing students enrolled at or accepted to any accredited 4-year medical school. Preference is given to students emerging from disadvantaged backgrounds with academic promise.
II. Mentoring Events
Quarterly events match medical students & residents in training with practicing physicians. Events include panel discussions, specialty breakout sessions, & specialty Q&As. Supports participants preparing for postgraduate training, fellowship, & practice.
III. Health & Wellness Support Seminars
New! Stress resulting from experiencing the COVID19 pandemic is affecting STEM students, medical students, residents in training, & practicing physicians. Burnout is real! Supports participants’ focus on self-care & work/life balance.
