🧶 Community Plarn Mat Class at Boujee Bean 🤍

We’re coming together to support our neighbors in a very hands-on way. Join us as we learn how to turn plastic grocery bags into sleeping mats (plarn mats) for those in need.

This class is led by a wonderful member of our community, Christy Spivey Garner, who has been making these mats by hand, and we’d love for YOU to be part of it.

✨ What you’ll learn:
• How to make “plarn” (plastic yarn)
• How to create 6’ x 3’ mats
• How these mats help provide comfort and protection

🧵 Materials to bring:
• Q crochet hook
• Scissors
• Grocery bags

🛍 Donations needed:
• Clean plastic grocery bags (please—these are used for people to lay on)

No experience needed — just a willing heart 🤍 Come learn, lend a hand, and help us make a difference together.
