Placer Artists Tour Invites You to a Music-Inspired Fundraiser Gala "Outside the Box: Reimagined!"
Placer Artists Tour invites the public to a distinctive celebration of art, music, and community at its annual fundraiser gala, Outside the Box: Reimagined, on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Blue Goose Event Center in Loomis.

This year’s event features 60 selected artists from across Placer County, each invited to take part in a creative challenge that pushes artistic boundaries. Artists have transformed vintage vinyl records and their nostalgic paper jackets into original works of art, exploring the powerful intersection of music, creativity, and community. The result is a visually compelling collection that reimagines familiar materials in fresh and unexpected ways.
The fundraiser includes both silent and live art auctions, offering multiple ways for the public to engage with and collect the artwork. An online auction preview allows art lovers to explore the collection in advance. The silent auction will be available both online and in person during the Auction Preview and Artists Reception, while live auction bidding is exclusive to gala attendees, creating an energetic, in-the-room experience.
Proceeds from Outside the Box: Reimagined directly support the continued growth and accessibility of Placer Artists Tour, which welcomes more than 6,000 visitors each November over two weekends. Funds raised help sustain artist promotion, educational outreach, digital and print marketing, and the coordination required to offer a high-quality, free public art experience throughout the region.
The centerpiece of the fundraiser is a sit-down dinner and live auction gala, featuring live music and drinks available for purchase. Guests will enjoy an evening of fine art, conversation, and connection—while directly supporting local artists and arts programming in Placer County.
