KS2 Moderation in Primary Science

This course is aimed at year 6 teachers and science subject leaders, and examines end of KS2 moderation in science. This robust framework aims to build teachers’ confidence in making end of KS2 judgements in science.

Day 1 (04th March 2026)

We will explore current government exemplification materials as well as examples of work from across our locality. Through discussions and exploration of these materials, you will consider the next steps for your own settings that will ensure full coverage of both substantive and disciplinary knowledge opportunities for your pupils.

Day 2 (29th April 2026)

This session provides an opportunity to reflect on how your children are getting on, with the opportunity to bring your own books and work collaboratively with other delegates.
