Background:

In May and June 2025, the Longmont Community Foundation conducted an online survey of community members ages 40 and under to better understand younger donors. The study explored how their giving, volunteerism, and community engagement differ from previous generations. To build on these insights, Prismatic Consulting also hosted focus groups and interviews, adding depth to the trends identified in the survey responses.

Here we will share the insights we found so you may best position your nonprofit to adapt to their interests and outlook on giving.
