Farm Dinner with Urban Field September 1st from 4:30 - 8pm
Sunflower Farm is excited to announce our only farm to table dinner of 2025 hosted by Urban Field on Monday September 1st Labor Day from 4:30-8:00 dinner service begins at 5:30!
This farm dinner will be a good old fashioned Labor Day BBQ cooked by Chef Nick Swanson from Urban Field! Gather around the tables at Sunflower as Chef Nick serves a coursed family style BBQ meal with veggies grown right here at Sunflower Farm Acres. The Felonius Smith Trio will be there to add some good old Folk Blues to this Labor Day BBQ and tours of the farm! Price includes beer or wine.

-Watermelon cucumber feta cheese lemon extra virgin olive oil basil mint Maldon salt cracked pepper
-Olathe sweet corn Mexican crema cotija cheese tajin seasoning cilantro lime
-Cheese tortellini sundried tomatoes marinated artichoke hearts shaved red onion olives basil & pistachio pesto shaved parmigiano
-Grandma’s classic potato salad & coleslaw
-Smoked Turkey breast OG bbq sauce
-Smoked St Louis style pork ribs Carolina bbq sauce
-Smoked brisket Texas style bbq sauce
-Roasted summer vegetables chimichurri sauce
-Anne’s Banana Cream Pudding
We also have limited kid tickets available! Price is $150 per adult which includes wine and beer $30 per child. Dinner menu TBD based on seasonality of products.
