Read The Principles of Personal Defense by Col. Jeff Cooper. It sets the tone for what you’re about to learn.
🎯 Equipment Checklist:
Everyday carry pistol
Strong-side belt holster + sturdy gun belt
5 pistol mags minimum
750–1000 rounds of ammo
Eye & ear protection (muffs recommended)
Weapon cleaning kit (with a rod)
Elbow/knee pads, ballcap, sunblock, rain gear, bug spray
Tape, pen & paper
Lunch + LOTS of water (Camelback recommended)
Most important: an open mind
