Rikers Island 911 ceremony on Friday, September 5 at 9:30 AM.
(EVENT CREATED IN SUPPORT OF OUR FELLOW L.E.M.C. CLUBS)
We should arrive at Rikers Island by 9:30 AM so that we can assemble with the other Bikers, and escort the procession across the Rikers Island Bridge.
The ceremony will be one hour and 30 minutes, will include a reading of the names of the fallen, and various speakers, videos, and accounts of the events of September 11.
Us, and our fellow New York City Correction Officers, especially ESU members would be honored if you would accompany us to this annual event.
Please mark your calendars, and let me know your availability so that we could set up meeting times and locations for the Various Clubs, Chapters, and Single Riders to ride together to this event.
‼️ To enter Rikers Island, there is a high security protocol that must be followed. That being said, when you respond, you will have to give me the names, of every member of your group.
Those individuals will need to provide valid New York State identification, in order to attend the event.
⚠️ No one will be allowed access without a valid New York State identification, no one under the age of 21 will be permitted.
No drugs, or alcohol will be permitted, and search of your vehicle/person is a possibility.
