On this one day spinning workshop you will learn about the wheels, parts and spin your own hand spun ball of yarn.

If you have ever seen a hand spinner happily spinning soft fibre into gorgeous yarns and wanted to give it a go. Ever wondered if your own knitting, crochet or weaving could be even more creative if you could spin your own yarns. Or maybe you have spun before and want to revisit a forgotten skill. Then this workshop is for you.
Covering types of spinning wheels, parts, tensions, etc. Sarah will show you how to use the spinning wheels and help you to create your own yarn.
By the end of the session you will hopefully have created your own ball of hand spun yarn to take away with you.
There will be spinning wheels to use for the workshop, however you are welcome to bring your own spinning wheel. (Please let us know if you are bringing your own wheel so that we can offer an additonal place)

Cancellation and a full refund (less the non refundable booking fee) can be obtained up to 30 days before the course starts. In exceptional circumstances we will try to rearrange another date.
Workshops are subject to a minimum booking number to run and may need to be cancelled or rebooked if numbers are too low or if we need to cancel due to staff issues or covid. If it's us cancelling we will offer another date or workshop or a refund (less the non refundable booking fee)
