A day that will actually give us time to talk to each other and help each other to feel good, find direction and learn.
I would love your input on this so please let me know any suggestions. At the moment I have given it this kind of format that will just be a loose frame work.
Circle time - This is where you can choose to say something to the group about who you are and where you are. Or choose not to.
Warm up / Somatic Practices - this is where you become aware of your body and what it needs at this moment, and what you need to work on.
Bellydance Technique
Bellydance Combination (or two)
Sound / Rhythm Awareness - chanting / drumming / body percussion
Ask the Group - do you have something you want to achieve in your dance but are stuck or don't know how to? Do you have a bit of Choreography you want to share but are not sure if it's working or where to go next? Asking the group for their opinions can lead to exponential growth, and surprising ideas you would never have considered on your own. If I include this I would need a few people to commit in advance to sharing something. (Entirely optional if you don't want to share of course!)
Circle Time - Sharing thoughts on the experience.
Stall - selling off Kookie Kaftan Souk items at reduced prices.
Pre-loved - only a few items per person - have a ticket with your name and price on the items.
Sunday 30th November 11am - 4pm £30 before 1st October (£35 after 1st October, £40 on the day if any places available). Includes Hot drinks, donations for homemade cake. Bring your own lunch.
