About this Event

Families carry both great love and great challenges. When addiction impacts a loved one, the entire family is affected.

This free family addiction workshop in Long Beach is designed to offer families hope, healing, and practical tools for building resilience and achieving recovery. Hosted by the New Found Life Foundation, this event offers families, loved ones, and professionals a morning of education and support.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Hope through shared stories and community support
  • Healing practices for families navigating addiction
  • A safe, supportive space to learn and grow together

While the primary focus is on families living with addiction’s impact, behavioral health professionals are also welcome to attend and benefit from the workshop.

Structured Family Recovery Counselor • Movement Facilitator

Mary McGraw-Gordon is a master-level counselor with over four decades of experience supporting families impacted by addiction. She served as Director of Family and Outpatient Services at the world-renowned Betty Ford Center, where she developed programs that foster healing, resilience, and recovery. Today, she continues to inspire through workshops, retreats, and community-based programs.



Special Closing Presentation

Leo Booth, MTh, CAC, CEDC

Internationally Acclaimed Author • Lecturer • Trainer

Internationally acclaimed author, lecturer, and trainer on spirituality and recovery. Leo will close the workshop with an inspiring talk on how spirituality — understood simply as being a positive and creative human being — can help families and friends foster physical, mental, and emotional wellness.
