On Saturday, September 27th from 6–8 PM, Urban Salt Community Acupuncture will host a special Action Board Workshop led by facilitator Vanessa Hernandez.
The evening will begin with a small group grounding breathwork session to quiet the mind and create focus. From there, participants will design their personalized Action Boards — unique visual tools that highlight the actions that will carry them into 2026 with clarity and purpose.
As we enter the final quarter of the year, it’s the right time to pause, reflect, and set intentions for what’s ahead. Many people are familiar with vision boards — collages of inspiring images that represent future goals. But there’s a powerful alternative that takes things a step further: the Action Board Method.
Developed by neuroscientist Dr. Tara Swart, the Action Board focuses not on the end result, but on the actions and habits required to get there. This method is grounded in neuroscience and works with the brain’s reticular activating system (RAS) — the part of the brain that filters information and helps us notice opportunities aligned with our goals. By creating an Action Board, you’re essentially training your brain to stay aware of the small, daily choices that build toward big dreams.
