In this 90-minute interactive session, Sarina dives deep into the hidden psychological patterns that shape our romantic choices, drawing from Schema Therapy and Attachment Theory. We'll explore five core patterns of romantic attachment and the unconscious emotional forces that pull us toward certain people and push us away from others.
We’ll unpack childhood needs that went unmet, the coping styles we developed to navigate those early experiences, and how those patterns quietly guide our dating and relationship decisions as adults.
You’ll learn why schemas like Abandonment, Instability, Emotional Deprivation, or Defectiveness/Shame can draw us toward partners who are unreliable, emotionally distant, or unable to meet our needs, and why even genuine affection may sometimes never feel like “enough.”
We’ll also take a close look at Schema Chemistry:
That exciting spark that can feel irresistible, and yet often pulls us back into a familiar, pain. And we’ll uncover the surprising psychological reasons why people who seem perfect “on paper” may feel safe but not exciting, and why some truly suitable partners stay stuck in the friend zone.
By the end of the session, you will have gained meaningful awareness of your own romantic patterns and the deeper emotional needs that drive them, helping you understand your relational instincts with greater clarity and compassion.
This is an eye-opening, practical, and empowering exploration of what shapes our romantic lives, and how awareness can be the first step toward healthier choices.
It’s valuable not only for individuals seeking love, but also for those already in happy relationships, and especially for parents who wish to help shape healthier relational mindsets for future generations.
