A lone sanguine tree stands at the center of town wafting the faint scent of cinnamon through the air around it. Occasionally, over the last few weeks a small red furred cat can be seen lounging along its branches lazing around basking in the nice fall sun. Observing. As the nights cool fall is swiftly on the horizon. The farms, recovering from the plague of gluttonous insects that swarmed their land but a month prior prepare themselves for the coming harvest festival. promising baked goods and festival fun. As the leaves begin to change their colours you reflect on how you've changed yourself drawing upon the memories of your triumphs, your losses, and your growth. Reveling in this brief moment of respite the calm is striking. When was the last time you were able to just breathe? On the surface this may true.
Below however, two wars are being waged. The first is in your mind. Anxiety eats at you. It's too quiet. Too peaceful. The peace you feel must be a hoax. You know from experience problems don't resolve themselves, so you wait on edge for the illusion of safety to drop. The second is in the catacombs. The ground shaking occasionally reverberating from magical and black powder explosions. The Caves and entrances to the catacombs are littered with the bones and bodies of the undead hordes. Most sharing a common trait. Iconography belonging to the Autumn Lord. For now the fighting seem contained to the catacombs, but how long will it remain that way before your town is dragged into its war. Even the townsfolk seem on edge. So I ask you a question. Will you revel in your safety? Enjoying this brief moment of respite. Or will you succumb to your anxieties and refuse the peace?

NOTICE: ANNOUNCEMENTS
Announcements will begin at 9pm this month! After the announcements we will be having the first town decision on this month's NPC Shift Reward!
Due to the extremely high NPC shift percentage in August, players will have the ability to request a mod centered around a plotline of your choosing. Simply ask your request of the Curator and prepare for your mission. For your success is not guaranteed. But the chance is there. Should you wish to forgo the mod you can chose to have Curator answer any 3 questions instead. They do not have to be related and the answers will be as direct as the Curator's knowledge extends. This decision will be made via a vote, and we are allowing PCs to discuss this OOG as well as IG.

To be properly logged for any of the upcoming events, you must have filled out our safety waiver. It can be found here:

Should you forget to fill it in before game, you will be asked to do so at log. Please make sure to sign the waiver to make log smoother! If you've already filled it in for the 2024 season, you do not need to fill it in again.

NPC SHIFTS
NPC Shifts: Mandatory for everyone who has played at least 3 games.
Reward: 5 frags and 1 Draw
Opt out fee: $15.
You can sign up for a shift by selecting a shift in the database when you prelog.
Please sign in at the Monster Marshal table when you arrive. If you sign up for a shift but do not attend, you will be charged the opt-out fee at the following game. It is important that you sign in!
Anyone who pays to play and NPCs gets a Draw at the end of their shift! One draw per player no matter how many shifts you take. Please make sure you talk with the monster marshal on your way out of NPC camp.
