About the place
We at Albion Touring have been curating and running tours throughout Britain and the World for over 30 years. Our essential Cotswolds tour brings together 7 together of the area's most iconic places, from the "Capital of The Cotswolds" - a must see on market day, to hidden villages and coaching towns. Our essential Cotswolds tour is a whole day experience featuring some of England's most charming itineraries, where folklore abounds and the wealth from the wool trade is all around us. We'll visit places tucked way otherwise closed to the larger tour groups. Want to see the "hobbit" door in medieval church? How about having a pint of English ale in England's oldest tavern? One of the must sees is a quaint thatched village right on the edge of the Cotswolds by the ruins of a medieval manor house.
The panoramic rooves on our vehicles means that we get to see much more of the countryside.
My husband and I brought our 12 year old grandson to London for a surprise trip. We booked a drive to Oxford & the Cotswolds with Albion Touring prior to our arrival. On the day of departure our driver Chris (also Albion’s owner!) arrived spot on time. From the minute we left the doorstep of our flat Chris narrated our drive and brought the history of London from Roman times alive for all of us but especially for our grandson. In Oxford Chris took us thru the city telling us some of the most interesting tales. He engaged our grandson on his level and was constantly asking after our comfort. We saw several villages in the Cotswolds and upon learning that we were cheese lovers to us to his favorite cheese shop. I needed supplies from the local pharmacy and he carried those for me in the village and even ran them back to the vehicle. He went out of his way to take us to the The Kings Men Circle of Stones. A smaller Stonehenge with fabulous legends and we loved it. If you are considering booking a drive with Albion don’t hesitate. I would do this again and again!

Seeing Cotswolds beauty and history!
The tour was perfect, we were in London for business/conference and decided to extend our trip for a day to see more of England. It was exactly what we were hoping for and we were able to customize to allow for the stops we were most excited about!
