Shared Reading by The Reader, a national charity, is a unique experience that helps thousands of people to connect, feel good and live well.

Connect with others through a unique shared reading format. We look at a short story or poem together in a relaxed, welcoming environment – no need to read or prepare in advance. Drop-in welcomed!

It is about a shared experience; something magical happens when a story is ‘consumed’ in connection with others. There is a different kind of understanding, a communal and expanded conscientiousness perhaps. "
