Sam Browse is a London (formerly Sheffield) based folk singer and multi-instrumentalist. He grew up listening to his dad sing at the kitchen sink and watching his mum dance and play morris tunes, and - in that tradition - is now often found singing at a session in some backroom of a pub. He’s released two albums - the first, ‘Songs from the Struggle’ (2021), is a rabble-rousing paean to his activism, and the second, ‘Wanton Will’ (2022), a prog-folk love letter to queer London. He’s recording a third, ‘Compass and Anchor’, comprising self-penned songs which (he hopes) will be out… very soon.
