Protest Banner Workshop

Join artist Aram Han Sifuentes for a hands-on workshop where we come together to make protest banners that speak to the issues that matter most to us.

Founded in 2016 in Chicago, the Protest Banner Lending Library has grown into an international project of collective making and activism. Aram teaches participants how to create protest banners and facilitates lending libraries where anyone can check them out and use them. Banners made in this workshop can either be kept by the maker for personal use, or donated to the London @protestbannerlibrary.

In this workshop, participants will learn simple banner-making techniques to design and sew fabric banners. No sewing experience is needed, and all materials are provided.

The workshop is free but please sign up if you are attending as we have limited space. Children are welcome to join but must be supervised by their carer(s).
