Viscose Journal is a unique magazine, addressing fashion through words and research and challenging perceptions of what a magazine about fashion can be. Every issue takes on a different theme, and the physical appearance of the magazine changes to reflect that theme.
The new issue, number eight, is themed ‘Sound,’ and as you see above, the cover takes the appearance of a vinyl record sleeve. Behind this physical fun lies a serious project pulling together specialist writers and researchers to examine the link between fashion and the theme.
Jeppe spoke at our Live NYC25 event earlier this year, and is as sharp an observer of independent publishing in general as he is of his specific area of interest. He’ll be accompanied by local contributors, who will read their work from the issue.
