Kelly Turkeys is the largest independent turkey hatchery in the UK supplying over 450 farmers throughout the country with specialist breeds of turkeys for the Christmas market.
As opposed to ‘all-year-round’ intensive production, they produce eggs when hens would naturally lay them in spring. And although it costs them considerably more, their turkeys are free-range, hand plucked and hung too. No wonder they are renowned in the industry and beyond for their exceptional quality and flavour, and often referred to as "the Rolls-Royce of turkeys".
Paul Kelly is at the helm, though he prefers to call himself a 'turkey famer' than Managing Director. He has two world records and is in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the Worlds Fastest Turkey Plucker and the worlds fastest turkey carver!
He joins us with friend and fellow industry name Dhruv Baker to impart his knowledge on how to source, prepare, cook and carve the perfect turkey. Guests will be given the opportunity to learn from the best and ask any burning questions they may have, over the course of a multi-course lunch, prepared by Paul and Dhruv.
Ticket includes a welcome drink on arrival and 3-courses.
